Under the able guidance of Dr. Meenu Jaitly, Doaba College of Law successfully organised a Legal Aid Awareness Rally against Drug Addiction in Sahauran Mohali, with the objective of spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a drug-free society.
Students of BA.LLB and LL.B actively participated in the rally, raising powerful slogans and carrying informative placards highlighting the legal consequences and social impact of substance abuse. The management of Doaba Group of Colleges told that the rally aimed to educate the local community about their rights, the importance of legal aid, and the need to collectively combat the growing menace of drugs.
Faculty members guided the students and emphasized the role of legal education in social reform. The initiative reflects the institution’s commitment towards community service, legal awareness, and nation-building.
The rally concluded with a pledge by participants to stand united against drug addiction and to contribute towards a healthier and safer society.
