Established in the Year – 2006, Doaba Institute of Engg & Technology Kharar is spread over lush green land of more than 10 acres and is located on the State Highway NH-21 which is 12 Km away from Chandigarh. Institute is easily accessible from Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula having centralized bus connectivity with Himachal Pradesh, Jammu Kashmir, Haryana and Delhi. Round the clock bus service is available to all parts of Punjab and nearby states. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, Government of Punjab and is affiliated to Inder Kumar Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), Jalandhar. College offers Post-graduate and Under-graduate courses in Engg and Management. Institute is well equipped with state of the art infrastructure to impart qualitative Technical Education to its students. We have well qualified, experience and dedicated faculty which provide skill based technical education by enhancing their knowledge compatible to the needs of the modern industry. Today from employment point of view, employer requires professionally skilled, competent and innovative youth for the growth of business in industrial sector. To cater the needs of modern industry, it is our duty to impart qualitative skill based technical education for which Doaba Institute of Engg &Technology Kharar has provided a platform to the people from all segments of the society by providing an education that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of innovations. Apart from class room teaching Institute takes initiatives by providing the students a policy to participate in extra curriculum activities for overall personality development of individuals. The campus is beautifully designed / constructed and landscaped, equipped with latest equipment, highly educated and experienced faculty to groom the students.
